Why should I Fixit?
At Fix It Up, you get a single point of contact from first consultation through to final handover no juggling multiple contractors or chasing updates. Our team plans, builds, and manages every project in-house, so quality, budget, and timelines stay firmly in our control. With hands-on experience across homes and offices throughout Dubai, we know how to deliver a smooth renovation with minimal disruption to your day-to-day.
How long does it take to complete?
Timelines depend on scope. A single-room refresh, such as a kitchen wrap or bathroom update, typically takes one to two weeks from the start of installation. Larger renovations covering multiple rooms, or a full home or office fit-out, usually run four to eight weeks. We'll confirm an exact schedule for your project once we've completed the site survey and finalised your quotation.
Will I receive a warranty?
Yes. All workmanship is covered by our standard 12-month warranty, and materials are covered separately under the relevant manufacturer's warranty, which can run longer depending on the product. Full warranty terms are provided in writing with your final quotation and project handover pack.
What are your payment terms?
We work on a staged payment structure: a deposit to confirm your booking and order materials, a progress payment as work begins on-site, and a final payment on completion and sign-off. Exact percentages and milestones are set out in your written quotation before any work begins, so there are no surprises.
Do I need to empty my space and clean before the installation?
We ask that you clear personal items, valuables, and furniture from the work area before our team arrives our project manager will confirm exactly what needs moving during your pre-installation walkthrough. Our crew will handle protecting surrounding surfaces and clearing on-site debris at the end of each work day.
How quickly can we install?
Once your quotation is approved and any custom materials are ordered, most projects are scheduled to start within one to three weeks. Smaller jobs using in-stock materials can sometimes be scheduled sooner just ask your project manager for the earliest available slot.
How do I pick the colours and textures I wish to fixit?
During your consultation, our design team brings sample books and finish swatches so you can see and feel the actual materials before committing. We're also happy to visit your space, virtually or in person, to help you choose colours and textures that suit your existing layout, lighting, and style.
Can the wrap be easily damaged?
Our kitchen wrap is a durable, scratch- and heat-resistant vinyl finish designed for everyday kitchen use, including regular cleaning and moderate heat exposure. Like any surface finish, it isn't indestructible — we'll walk you through simple care tips at handover to help it look great for years to come.
How is the wrap applied?
Our technicians clean and prep your existing cabinetry, then apply the vinyl wrap by hand using heat-assisted techniques to achieve a smooth, seamless finish around edges and corners. Most kitchens can be fully wrapped within a few days, with far less mess and disruption than a full cabinet replacement.
Is the wrap removable?
Yes, the wrap can be removed by a professional if you ever want to change the finish or revert to the original surface. We don't recommend DIY removal, as this can risk damaging the underlying cabinetry our team can handle removal or a fresh re-wrap whenever you're ready for a change.
